Outback Supply Co Western Jeans, Country Music and Line Dancing

Outback Supply Co Western Jeans, Country Music and Line Dancing

At Outback Supply Co, our Western Jeans are made for the Australian climate and rough work. However, did you know that as well as being made for hard work, they're also made for fun?

Our range of Western Bling Jeans for women are perfect for a night out on the town. Teamed with some of our signature hats and accessories, they help you stand out from the crowd, even if everyone else is also in denim!

Country Music fashion ranges from super feminine to borderline grunge.

You'll see people in anything from traditional ruffled shirts to logo tees to accessorise their denim jeans and riding boots. Think of the likes of Keith Urban, Willie Nelson and even Kenny Rogers. For women, consider iconic Dolly or Taylor Swift, they both look as good in spangled dresses as they do in ripped jeans, despite their very different ages and body shapes.

Country Music Style and Fashion

Everyone on the scene has their own unique style, but they are all undeniably 'Country'. You can glam it up all you like or get down and dirty, but as long as you get the core pieces and attitude right, you'll fit in just fine.

Country music fashion is as eclectic as its roots. Both the USA and Australia are about as culturally blended as you can get. We both have vast areas of open land where stories are made and songs are created to keep the tales alive. It's hardly surprising that some of the best Country singers around are Australian. The roots of Country music are thought to originate in from a mash-up of Indigenous North American traditional music, Celtic sounds and English ballads. There's also evidence that a lot of Country influence can trace itself back to North African slave ships.

Whatever the origins, it's true that Country fashion, just like Country music is constantly evolving, dipping in and out of influences. Ultimately both the fashion and the music are about storytelling and that's something that is deeply rooted in the Australian Outback.

Here at Outback Supply Co, we have all the clothing and accessories you need to create a truly individual look. If you like what you see, click on the images to go to the product page.

Outback Supply Jeans and Accessories are perfect for Line Dancing!

When you're into Line Dancing you know you need to dress your best. Line dancing is the most social side of Country Music. Although there are renegades out there that like to mix it up, at the end of the day, it's driven by Country. The format of line dancing is thought to have originated from the formalised European  Square dancing and formal dance movements. That could mean that there's a possibility that if they were alive today, Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy could have been line dancing instead of formal ball dancing!

Line Dancing

Line dancing has become a competitive sport these days. There are line dancing comps across Australia and it's a great way for people of all ages to stay active both physically and socially. Even Will and Kate got in on the act! Although we love the belt, we think that Kate would completely rock a pair of our bling jeans.
